Schedule Night shift; 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), rotating weekends required. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit will provide care primarily for medical neurological patients. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry as required. Provide management of medication drips and assist with procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in progressive care or similar environments. Experience in a Neuro PCU setting preferred. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Must pass the EKG exam during compliance prior to employment. Experience with Epic charting system is required.
