Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Neuro Stepdown in a hospital setting Neuro patient population; strong general medicine or surgical experience also considered Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required to Med/Surg, Neuro, Stepdown, and PCU units Epic EMR used; prior experience required Blocked scheduling is not available Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), all must be in hand Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required Neuro experience preferred; candidates with strong general medicine or surgical backgrounds will also be considered Epic charting experience required One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a different pay rate Royal blue scrubs required Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions or declinations accepted American Traveler Job ID P-683560.
