Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 3rd floor of a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 36 hours per week, 3 days per week 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (standard or compact) Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) Current NIHSS certification Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred Additional Information Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and update patient care plans Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required by patient care plans Assesses and anticipates discharge needs for individual patients and families Two professional references required for consideration Drug screen results are required prior to start; candidates should be prepared to report to the lab promptly upon committing to the position American Traveler Job ID P-686670.
