Details Position is located in a hospital Medicine Specialty Unit (Med/Surg Tele) Night shift schedule, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week) Med/Surg and Stepdown patient population Level I facility experience preferred Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma state license or eNLC compact license) required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — all certifications must be AHA-issued Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required Level I facility experience preferred Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered Additional Information Provides nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV management, medication administration, monitoring physiological data, and coordinating with physicians and support staff Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals to appropriate personnel based on patient care needs Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for a new contract; extensions are limited to one time, for a maximum of 26 consecutive weeks Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance — start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance BSN or higher degree is preferred but not required American Traveler Job ID P-681488.
