Details General Med/Surg unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital Patient population is primarily adults with occasional pediatric patients; this is not a dedicated pediatric floor Unit provides medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care Day shift: 7am–7pm, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) Every other weekend required Meditech EMR experience preferred Requirements Active VT RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required prior to start Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience required Peds-only RNs will not be considered for this position Additional Information Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients, including medical, surgical, and observation cases, with occasional pediatric patients Collaborate closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor throughout each shift Accountable to the Unit Director for patient care coordination and clinical decision-making Care approach emphasizes holistic needs including physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental considerations Travelers begin their assignment on Wednesdays All required credentials must be uploaded five business days prior to the start date American Traveler Job ID P-683690.
