Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week) Rotating weekends required No on-call responsibilities Floating to Medical-Surgical unit required; candidates must be comfortable with 1:7 MS ratios when floated 13-week contract Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current AHA BLS certification required; AHA ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Telemetry experience preferred Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Travel RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) American Traveler Job ID P-682796.
