Details Hospital-based adult surgery operating room environment Level 1 trauma facility Perioperative circulator role covering operative and other invasive procedures for adult patients Day shift schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required CNOR certification preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment required At least 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required Strong knowledge of AORN Standards required Full DOB and full SSN required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Responsible for direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of perioperative care using the nursing process Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and procedure being performed Applies clinical knowledge and judgment to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of perioperative patients Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may extend one time for a total of 26 weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before returning after 26 weeks Compliance requirements must be completed promptly and by firm deadlines — the facility will not negotiate start dates after booking American Traveler Job ID P-681299.
