Details Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting Level I trauma environment with critically ill pediatric cardiac patients Night shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts, three days per week Assignment length is 13 weeks Requirements Active OK or multistate compact RN license in hand Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma care setting Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills necessary Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Additional Information Responsible for managing an assigned group of pediatric CVICU patients Duties include monitoring physiologic data, assisting physicians with procedures, and administering medications and infusions Engages with patient families regarding care plans and discharge processes Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff as needed Compliance with hospital's dress code and vaccination policies is required American Traveler Job ID P-674077.
