Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital Heart Hospital setting with 55 beds on the unit Cardiovascular patient population requiring specialized monitoring and care Patient ratio of 1:4 Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00 Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week Weekend requirement: rotating, as needed Floating required No on-call requirement Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Active NM or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) also required; CPI preferred Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 2 years preferred Cardiovascular nursing experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler No travel pairs or groups accepted Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation Scrubs: any color, logo-free only American Traveler Job ID P-684100.
