Details PCU/Stepdown unit in a hospital setting Patient population includes cardiac and telemetry cases requiring close monitoring Patient ratio of 1:5 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Every other weekend (EOW) requirement Floating to Med/Surg units required Requirements Active AL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Prior experience in MS/Telemetry, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown settings required Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required Must be able to start IVs, manage Heparin protocols, and manage cardiac drips (no titration) Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are considered; candidates residing within a 60-mile radius of the facility are eligible at the local pay rate All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of contract confirmation — no RTO will be approved after the contract is confirmed Schedules cannot be adjusted once a contract is confirmed; per diem schedules or other contracts will not be accommodated American Traveler Job ID P-676984.
