Details Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts) Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a 528-bed tertiary care hospital Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 Every other weekend requirement Floating required Skills utilized include cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response/code team participation, peripheral IV care and management, respiratory support (nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen, non-invasive airway management), and isolation precautions Charting via Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NY RN license currently in hand — no exceptions Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele RN experience Epic EMR experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information 13-week contract First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted Navy and white scrubs (any combination) required All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration American Traveler Job ID P-682325.
