Details Hospital Med/Surg unit setting Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM Weekend-focused schedule: primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, working 5 out of every 6 weekends On the 6th week, the schedule shifts to Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 13-week contract Requirements Active IA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required ACLS certification preferred Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification required within 6 months of hire Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently Additional Information Provides direct patient care for Med/Surg patients under limited supervision, including planning, directing, and evaluating total nursing care Administers medications and IV solutions, carries out nursing interventions, and maintains accurate and timely documentation Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to communicate patient needs and ensure continuity of care Assesses and prioritizes patients' physical, psychological, educational, and discharge needs to develop and modify individualized care plans Supports infection control policies and participates in orientation and in-service training Works rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled American Traveler Job ID P-685999.
