Details 54-bed Med/Surg unit within a 119-bed acute care hospital Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7p–7a Patient ratio of 1:6 Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating within scope to like units or sister facilities may be required Epic EMR used for charting Telemetry/cardiac drip management experience preferred Requirements Active RN license — SC state or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required IV start skills required Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are considered on a case-by-case basis All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment start but is not guaranteed Royal blue scrubs required Free parking available in unrestricted spaces on campus Holiday coverage is required as needed Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September American Traveler Job ID P-681237.
