Details Hospital Medical-Surgical unit setting Adult and geriatric patient population Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 Night shift, 7p–7:30a (3x12s), with an option for 4x12s Every other weekend required Floating required Charge nurse responsibilities on an as-needed basis Level II Trauma experience preferred Requirements Active AL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Current Fit Test required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred Proficiency with IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care, and wound VAC Travel nursing experience preferred Additional Information A mandatory 30-minute lunch break is required — meal breaks may not be skipped Local candidates are considered; candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius to qualify for travel pay rates ASAP starts preferred American Traveler Job ID P-686423.
