Details 12-hour night shifts, 18:45–07:15 Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a patient population requiring drip management (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin at minimum) Progressive Care/Step-Down or ICU experience is a plus, with exposure to vasoactive drips such as Levophed, Nicardipine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Neosynephrine, and Dobutamine EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts); no prior experience required as it is closely comparable to Cerner Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Some holiday coverage required Travelers are first to float, based on skill set Requirements Active MO or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification required TNCC required for ICU-level candidates only Minimum of MS/Telemetry nursing experience required New graduates will not be considered for this position Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Orientation consists of a structured multi-day program: Days 1–2 at the health system level, Day 3 at the unit facility, Day 4 is clinical orientation, and Day 5 varies by unit Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate; however, candidates applying to the Great Bend campus must reside outside a 60-mile radius to qualify Nicotine-free facility American Traveler Job ID P-679962.
