Details 8 East Neuro unit within a hospital setting recognized as a Level 2 Trauma Center and Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center Night shift schedule: 1900–0730 Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating required as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit EMR: Epic 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license — must meet eligibility requirements for licensure in Missouri or hold a current MO or Compact RN license BLS certification from AHA required ACLS certification from AHA preferred Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient Med/Surg experience required Neuro experience preferred No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled Additional Information Provides direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Cares for patients post-trauma, post-surgical intervention, and with medical comorbidities Coordinates patient care activities with ancillary and other departments to optimize patient outcomes Physical demands include standing and walking most of the shift, frequent bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance, and pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs.
