Details Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 13-week contract Work on a 12-bed Medical/Surgical unit within a 167-bed acute care hospital Adult and geriatric patient population Patient ratio of 6:1 Every other weekend or as-needed weekend hours required No on-call requirements May float to other Med/Surg units as needed Charting performed in Meditech Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — RQI certifications are not accepted Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a Med/Surg setting 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred Social Security number required for consideration Date of birth required for consideration Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Additional Information Level III Trauma Center facility fully accredited by The Joint Commission Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted American Traveler Job ID P-682914.
