Schedule Night shift, 3x12.0 hours. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is executed effectively. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and new staff members while safeguarding the safety of both patients and employees. Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming the basis for individualized care plans. Identify teaching needs and set goals related to each patient's diagnosis, collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record according to policy. Participate actively in the patient rehabilitation program by utilizing the nursing process to prioritize patient education. Initiate discharge planning upon admission and begin patient teaching in anticipation of discharge. Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and patient safety. Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, utilizing effective decision-making and organizational skills. Ensure personal and environmental safety in line with hospital policies and procedures. Contribute positively to unit operations and engage in team building activities. Assume charge responsibilities as requested after the orientation period. Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift ACLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift (CIRH ONLY) Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required Why ARMStaffing?
