Details Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM OB/GYN combined unit within a regional hospital setting Patient ratios: 1:1 for active labor, 3:1 for couplet care Intermediate fetal monitoring using Philips Tracevue Charting in Meditech EHR Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating within the hospital to other units as needed Requirements Active Iowa RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand) Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required; 2 years preferred Travel nursing experience may be considered in lieu of additional years of experience Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. (RQI certifications are not accepted) Iowa SING background check (criminal and child abuse portions) required — no instant or statewide searches accepted All county and state background checks must be fully cleared prior to start Mandatory reporter certification required (child and adult) 10-panel drug screening including opiates required Titers within the last 12 months required: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration COVID vaccination card required Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible 13-week contract duration American Traveler Job ID P-680815.
