Details Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15) Every other weekend coverage required Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1–1:2 Performs fetal monitoring (basic and intermediate), medication titrations (oxytocin/magnesium), cervical dilation checks, labor management, C-section RN circulator duties, and PACU recovery of C-section patients Peripheral line care/management and isolation precaution/PPE protocols in use Epic EMR used for computerized documentation; experience preferred Requirements Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS and NRP Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required Basic and intermediate fetal monitoring skills required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation Travel pairs or groups will not be considered Previous travel experience preferred; first-time traveler eligibility — check with your recruiter American Traveler Job ID P-679836.
