Details Work in an Intermediate Care (IMC)-level Surgical/Urology/Thoracic inpatient unit at a large academic hospital (500 bed facility) Patient population includes pre- and post-operative surgical, urology, and thoracic patients Multi-level care unit encompassing adult inpatient acute, telemetry, and intermediate care with continuous vital sign monitoring and some advanced monitoring Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts) Floating required to areas of like skill set within the 11 West IMC and Med/Surg levels Epic EMR experience preferred Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required IMC/PCU experience required, preferably with a surgical patient population Dysrhythmia management experience required Current BLS certification required ACLS preferred Experience at a large hospital (500 bed facility) required SSN and DOB required for consideration 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide pre- and post-operative bedside surgical care within an IMC setting Epic EMR experience is preferred 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers When noting IMC/PCU experience on your resume, be sure to indicate the specific patient population cared for (e.g., surgical, urology, thoracic) American Traveler Job ID P-695541.
