Details ICU position in an acute care hospital setting Critical care patient population, including CC holds Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00 Floating required to MS/Tele and ER (for critical care holds) 13-week contract Requirements Active TX or Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH Stroke Scale, 6 hours of stroke education, and EKG course completion Critical care nursing experience required 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could result in a positive test, including CBD products Stroke education (6 hours) and EKG course completion can be provided if not already completed Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-685728.
