Details Emergency Department setting at a 167-bed acute care hospital Level III Trauma Center serving patients of all ages Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 36 hours per week 13-week contract Every other weekend requirement Floating required on an as-needed basis On-call required on an as-needed basis Requirements Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, HWC, PALS, and TNCC — all must be AHA-issued and in hand prior to start SSN and date of birth required for consideration Must reside 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment Additional Information Provides emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population spanning all age groups Candidates must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start Orientation is held on Mondays Professional demeanor required; must be a team player who supports current staff and respects department expectations Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted Local candidates (within 60 miles) are not eligible for this travel position American Traveler Job ID P-686267.
