Details Hospital-based Cath Lab unit serving an adult to geriatric patient population 3 rooms with 5 beds and an average daily census of 8–10 patients Procedures include circulation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring EMR systems used: Epic and Pyxis Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM Every third weekend required Approximately 10 call days per month Floating required within the facility and within scope of practice, with the possibility of floating to a sister campus Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are strongly preferred for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Scrubs are provided by the facility RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of assignment If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day No scheduling requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted; the posted shift is firm Local candidates are accepted Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to begin on time American Traveler Job ID P-695473.
