Details Position is located in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit Patient population is adult and geriatric (ages 18 and older), with vascular and cardiac cases including LVAD, temporary pacers, and intra-aortic balloon pump procedures (ECMO excluded) Staff-to-patient ratio is 4 staff per 1 patient, per procedure 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday Weekend call and holiday coverage required Requirements Active MS or Compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Heart and vascular experience required, including wire and supplies A reference from a leadership role (e.g., nurse manager) covering the last year of employment is required; if worked at multiple facilities in the past year, a reference from each is required Social Security number required for consideration Additional Information This is a nurse-scrubbing facility — Cath Lab nurses rotate scrubbing alongside the physician 13-week contract Interview process involves an IVS interview with offer extended by the manager American Traveler Job ID P-686499.
