Details Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting Shifts are 7:00am to 3:30pm, with on-call requirements Patients require complex and critical cardiac care, including emergency cardiac interventions Procedures include arterial and venous sheath removal, procedural sedation, and assistance with Flow wire, Opsens, and IVUS Utilizes equipment such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and IMPELLA Ability to be within a 30-minute radius of the facility when on call Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required ASN required; BSN preferred Current BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred PALS certification preferred Basic dysrhythmia training preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation CPI training preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire NIHSS certification preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation Experience with complex medication infusions and titration management Additional Information Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, pre-admission testing, and in-depth medication reviews Must demonstrate clinical expertise in maintaining a sterile field and following safety protocols Participation in call shifts for both Cath Lab and Stress Lab is required Must maintain radiation safety and personal protective attire standards Passage of annual procedural sedation exam required Team-based environment with flexibility expected to cover staffing needs American Traveler Job ID P-668853.
