Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be at the forefront of delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and immediate care to patients in critical conditions. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment where your expertise and quick thinking will be crucial in saving lives and stabilizing patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, prioritize, and manage the care of patients presenting with a full range of conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and other emergencies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and document all provided care accurately and comprehensively.
- Advocate for patients, ensuring their preferences and needs are considered and respected in the delivery of care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during their time in the emergency department.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay abreast of the latest developments in emergency nursing.

Ongoing support for nurses throughout their employment
Assistance with renewal of work authorization and documentation when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited institution.
- NCLEX-RN

Minimum of 1 year of licensed RN experience in the Emergency Department.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Eligible for a California RN License upon hire.
- Must possess a current Canadian or USA passport or Green Card
- VisaScreen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and make decisions quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a collaborative healthcare team.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
EDAP or ENPC required within first year of employment
TNCC or ATCN required within first year of employment
Benefits
Hourly pay $52-$78.46 base pay + Shift diffs $7.00/hr for nights
