Description

Role Description

We are looking for a driven Sales Representative to manage and grow our presence across the Northern Suburbs Territory in Perth!

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with licensed outlets, driving brand representation, and achieving sales targets. This role also includes a regional customer base in the Pilbara which requires work travel away from home for 4 nights each trip (approx. 4 times a year).

Sales Results

  • Achieve customer-specific and/or brand-specific sales targets as set by the National Sales Manager

Brand Representation

  • Ensure all designated licensed outlets carry the required product range to meet consumer needs
  • Maintain product availability at key selling points including bars, eating areas, bottle shops and restaurants
  • Ensure products are in saleable condition and that stock rotation is maintained
  • Strive to ensure products are priced in line with the company’s pricing strategy
  • Handle product quality complaints efficiently and promptly, adhering to internal procedures
  • Identify permanent signage opportunities and work with the State Sales Manager to secure approved sites

Brand Display & Merchandising

  • Ensure products are displayed prominently at all points of sale in each outlet
  • Secure prime display space in areas such as bottle shops

Point of Sale Material

  • Place POS and signage material in prime positions in each outlet, relevant to brand positioning
  • Use all material effectively, with consideration given to quantities

Promotion

  • Maximise opportunities to promote products to consumers and retailers without exceeding budgeted funds (unless instructed by the State Sales Manager)
  • Ensure effective use of promotional aids as provided
  • Promote the goodwill and professional image of the company at all times

Market Intelligence

Report on marketplace trends including:

  • Competitor activity (bulk and packaged)
  • Changes in consumption relative to facilities provided (bars, bottle shops etc.)
  • Impact of sponsorship activity on the marketplace
  • Feedback relating to product quality and/or packaging
  • Advise licensees on trends that could improve outlet performance
  • Provide clear recommendations to support the company’s market performance

Reporting

  • Submit written activity reports on time as agreed with the SSM – reports should be brief, accurate, clear and legible

Territory Management

  • Complete all area call plans to a satisfactory level as directed by the SSM
  • Keep all customer records updated after each outlet call in the CRM system
  • Adhere to a regular call journey plan
  • Maintain Occupational Health and Safety responsibilities and show “Duty of Care” at all times


Skills And Experiences

  • At least 1-3 years in a similar role
  • Well developed, self-management skills
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Self-motivated, independent and can work in isolation
  • Displays a high level of courtesy, dependability, self-confidence and honesty in all situations
  • Shows strong work ethic and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Assertive whilst remaining humble
  • Be a team player with great internal relationships
  • Good computer skills, competent in all facets of Windows
