Hiring Range: $21.36 - $31.71 per hour

Are you a compassionate certified Medical Assistant looking to make an impact in your community? The Puyallup Tribal Health Authority (PTHA) is seeking a dynamic, culturally respectful, and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional care to our patients of all ages.
What You’ll Do:
As a Medical Assistant, you are a vital part of our medical team. You'll support physicians and nurses in a broad range of clinical and administrative duties, including:
- Preparing patients for exams and treatments
- Collecting patient histories, vital signs, and performing diagnostics (ECGs, vision tests, audiograms, etc.)
- Administering immunizations and medications as directed
- Performing lab work, phlebotomy, and limited x-rays (with proper certification)
- Managing exam room cleanliness and supply readiness
- Supporting front-desk tasks like appointment scheduling, phone calls, and medical record upkeep
- Collaborating on patient flow and providing friendly, efficient service
- Precepting new MAs and students as needed
What You Bring:
- Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C)
- At least (2) years of Medical Assistant experience with patients of all ages
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records
- BLS certification (preferred)
