Medical Assistant –(Primary Care)
Location: Conroe, TX (must live within 10 miles)
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: Competitive – wage depends on experience
We are a busy primary care practice seeking a highly responsible Medical Assistant experienced in Meaningful Use (MU) and HEDIS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform chart reviews, gap closures, and documentation in the EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Assist with patient intake, vitals, and rooming
- Coordinate preventive care (AWVs, screenings, immunizations)
- Answer phones and support front/back office workflow as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant experience (required)
- MU and/or HEDIS experience (required)
- Strong EMR skills (eClinicalWorks a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Extremely reliable, punctual, and professional
