Position Responsibilities:

• Interview patients and document basic medical information including vital signs and medications
• Update and file medical records
• Arrange and laboratory services
• Set up and assist during medical examinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
• Assist with phones, & scheduling

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Education and/or Experience:

Licensure / Certification / Registration

· Medical Assistant (MA) certification

· Basic Life Support / CPR certification required for position (may be obtained after upon hiring).

Education

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.

Work Experience

1 year experience as Medical Assistant required.

Phlebotomy experience required.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
