Maintenance Intern- Huron

Maintenance Intern 

Pay: $22.00/hour

Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (April 2025 through August 2025, Temporary)

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Intern will join our dynamic Maintenance team and play a vital role in supporting the department's daily operations. This entry-level position will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corn ethanol industry leader, with facilities in Aberdeen, Huron, Mina and Watertown, SD.

Learning Objectives:

• Assist with daily and monthly work orders
• Assist with repairs to plant as needed
• Develop skills to keep plant in running mechanical order
• Gain knowledge of maintenance skills in the ethanol industry
• Take on miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by different departments
• Support safety, health, and environmental initiatives and programs
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Must be 18 year of age)
• Strong ability to adapt to changing job duties throughout the day
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to evolving tasks
