Laundry Specialist 7a - 3 p plus alternating weekends

Foothills Retirement Community is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Laundry Specialist to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. In this position, you will enjoy working with a passionate team to provide quality service throughout our community.

What you will do:

• Wash and dry personal laundry of residents on as needed basis
• Wash and dry linens for residential and health services area
• Pick up soiled linens from all areas where stored and transport to the laundry room in a covered container
• Keep washers and dryers clean daily. 
• Keep laundry carts neat and covered. 
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by washing hand, wearing gloves and safety goggles as required.
• The job will also, but not limited to, Separate soiled laundry sheets, towels, rags, etc. and clean and disinfect linen carts daily. 

What is good to have:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year of related laundry or housekeeping experience
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license
