Qualifications

The Labor & Employment Group of the Litigation Department is seeking an associate in the Boston office with four to six years' experience. The candidate must be admitted in Massachusetts, have excellent academic credentials, and have significant employment law experience. The associate would be expected to assume meaningful responsibility for employment-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitral forums, wage and hour investigations, non-compete litigation and counseling of clients. The candidate should have significant experience in: (i) motion practice; (ii) case management; (iii) drafting and responding to written discovery; (iv) preparing to take and defend depositions; (v) trial preparation; (vi) preparing position statements to the various anti-discrimination agencies, (vii) counseling employer clients and (vii) strong research and writing skills.
