About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our busy team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
Working closely with external sales representatives, warehouse staff, and suppliers, you will play a key role in supporting customers with enquiries, quotations, order processing, and product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and develop strong customer relationships
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and availability
- Support the external sales team
- Assist customers with product selection and technical information
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous internal sales or customer service experience
- Experience within industrial distribution, bearings, power transmission, fasteners, hydraulics, or related industries highly regarded
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Competent computer skills and experience using ERP systems preferred
