Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) delivers comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care in compliance with applicable laws and standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and preventive care needs.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with state laws and scope of practice.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on disease management, lifestyle changes, and preventive health.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Provide follow-up care, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in [State].
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
