Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. This includes monitoring patient health, administering medications and treatments, and assisting with daily living activities. The LPN plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and health status.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following established protocols.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support physicians and RNs during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and health maintenance.

Qualifications

Required:
