As a part-time Van Driver, you will enhance the mobility of consumers by providing professional and accessible transportation in a safe, reliable, comfortable and courteous manner. You will operate a county vehicle an average of 150 miles each day. This is an opportunity to provide transportation service as well as social contact for our consumers (includes senior adults and wheelchair-dependent persons) and a chance to work independently. Excellent communication skills required, both person to person and via two-way radio. Willingness and patience to assist consumers, including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent consumers along rough payment or unpaved paths. and ability to easily adjust in daily schedule. Must be a people-person as you will be providing important assistance and socialization throughout the day.
