Schedule Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. Weekend shifts are optional. Job Description The Wound Care RN will provide specialized care for patients with various wound types, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires significant patient assessment, and wound care management including the use of advanced treatments such as KCI wound vacs. Responsibilities Review consults and divide workload with peers. Conduct thorough head-to-toe patient assessments. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team including doctors, social workers, and nurses. Manage wound care orders and ensure appropriate treatments. Provide patient education on wound care and management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of inpatient clinical experience required, with a preference for wound care experience. BLS (AHA) certification required.
