Details 7E Medical Admit Unit in an acute care hospital setting Patient population is 50% Medical and 50% Telemetry, adults only Typical patient ratio of 4–6:1 Uses standard telemetry unit nursing equipment EMR: Epic Night shift, 7p–7a (4x12s) Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday) Floating required upon request as needed No on-call requirements Requirements Active MO or Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted) Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1 (exemptions subject to facility approval) Additional Information Performs direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult patients Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) per 13-week period is allowed, but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but are subject to local contract terms, including a limit of 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required Black scrubs required All candidates will be interviewed by the unit manager within 24 hours of offer; offers are subject to final manager approval American Traveler Job ID P-682509.
