Details Night shift position, 7p–7a, 4x12-hour shifts Med Surg/Telemetry Short Stay unit (7E Medical Admit Unit) Patient population is adults only, approximately 50% Medical and 50% Telemetry Typical patient ratio is 4–6:1 EMR: Epic Standard telemetry unit nursing equipment used Floating required as needed upon request Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday), unless otherwise approved No on-call requirements Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal is documented Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry (Tele) experience required No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs are not accepted) Additional Information Responsibilities include direct patient care across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as coordinating care activities with ancillary departments Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate; local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required Up to 5 days of RTO per 13-week contract is allowed, but any time off must be made up during the assignment Candidates should expect to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) Flu vaccination is required for all travelers working between November 1 and April 1; exemptions require client approval Required scrub color: black A manager interview will be conducted for every candidate prior to final offer approval American Traveler Job ID P-682505.
