Details Work on a 36-bed private room Telemetry unit (5 North) in a hospital setting Patient population ranges from young adults to geriatric patients, with a focus on cardiac care Priority admissions include post-cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implant patients; hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients are also admitted Patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Epic EMR experience preferred 13-week contract Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required Travel nursing experience preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Additional Information Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler Travel pairs or groups will not be considered No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-685801.
