Details Work in a telemetry unit within an acute care hospital environment Night shifts with 12-hour schedule and every other weekend required First to float within the facility as needed Patient population includes cardiac and telemetry monitoring needs Uses Cerner EMR system; experience required Requirements Active CA RN license is required at the time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted Minimum of 3 years recent RN experience required Must have recent charge nurse experience in last assignment Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS (AHA or APEX) Completion of required orientation and unit-specific training Submission must include copy of driver's license Two professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years Candidate may not have been employed directly by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year Additional Information Role blends charge nurse, clinical mentor, and on-shift manager responsibilities including rounding, addressing patient concerns, and supporting staff Three weeks of orientation are provided, including classroom and unit-based training No first time travelers will be considered for this position Additional testing or skills modules may be required prior to start, including dysrhythmia and sterile technique assessments Professional attire and adherence to hospital dress code required American Traveler Job ID P-653788.
