Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on high acuity medical-surgical floor specializing in surgery trauma • Must be willing to work assigned shifts - no block schedules available • Patient ratio of 5:1 with nursing support techs available • Phlebotomist services provided on unit • Unit secretary available during night shifts • Participate in nurse handoff communications with ED nurses and admitting unit • Care for patient population including spinal neuro trauma surgical patients, gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and paraplegics • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred • EPIC electronic medical record system experience required • Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required • No RTO (Return to Orientation) available Facility: This major healthcare facility operates as a Level I trauma center providing comprehensive medical services with a focus on high-acuity patient care.
