A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) with complex patient population • Must have 2 full years of experience and 1 successful travel contract • Strict 75 mile radius restriction for candidates • Strong surgical background required with experience in trauma and post-trauma patients • Experience needed with burns, orthopedics, cardiovascular surgical patients, and neurosurgical patients • Handle complex surgical cases secondary from traumas or oncological issues • Experience with CRRT, dialysis, and Open Heart recovery highly desirable • May care for Medical ICU patients when no other ICU beds are available • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS • Use MEDITECH charting system • BSN not required • Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks • Acute care setting Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Surgical Trauma ICU that specializes in caring for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical needs.
