Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,428 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM • Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the hospital • Work in HVTI-Stepdown unit with potential to float to units J1-2/E20IB, J33 and ED for same patient population • Must work at least every other holiday • 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown specialty required prior to travel • 18 months of recent stepdown experience required (travel experience acceptable) • PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required • Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand • Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification • Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores • Use Qualivis Lotus system for submitting hours worked • Must pass background check with no open cases • No license hits accepted • Complete BCI/FBI fingerprints within 48 hours of signing contract • Pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to start date • Complete 4-15 hours of pre-start modules via Silkroad system Facility: This major academic medical center operates as a comprehensive healthcare system providing advanced medical care across multiple specialties.
