Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,428 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotating schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM • Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the hospital • Work in HVTI-Stepdown unit with potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED for same patient population • Must work at least every other holiday • Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS • Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand • Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown specialty prior to travel • Must have 18 months of recent stepdown experience (travel experience accepted) • PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required • Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores required • Use Qualivis Lotus system for submitting hours worked • Maximum 2 attempts to pass required assessments or contract will be canceled • Complete pre-start modules averaging 6-15 hours with 4 hours billable • Pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to start date Facility: This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive stepdown unit providing intermediate-level care for patients requiring closer monitoring than general medical floors but less intensive care than ICU settings.
