Details Step-down float pool unit within a large academic hospital setting, with potential to float to other step-down units and the ED for the same patient population Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week Shift preferences will be accommodated when possible, but rotation may be required to meet operational needs 13-week contract Requirements Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in step-down nursing prior to travel Step-down experience required; travel experience in specialty is accepted toward the 18-month minimum PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required Must provide two professional references for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue Must be available to work at least every other holiday Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting a new assignment at any of the health system's facilities American Traveler Job ID P-681436.
