Details Hospital-based Step-Down (HVTI) unit within a large academic medical center Potential to float to other units within the same patient population Rotating day and night shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week 13-week contract Requirements Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Step-Down or a related specialty prior to beginning travel Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience counts toward this requirement) PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required to continue the assignment Must work at least every other holiday Candidates who have previously worked at any Cleveland Clinic location must have a minimum 6-month gap before beginning a new assignment there Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location are limited to 18 consecutive months American Traveler Job ID P-684586.
