Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Rotating weekends required • Float required as needed across all facilities • Patient ratio of 5:1 during all shifts • 24 hours of orientation provided • Must have minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers accepted) • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH • Neuro PCU experience required • Previous Charge RN experience preferred • Epic charting system experience required • Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) • Experience with CVA, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen required • Skills include central line care, PICC line management, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips management, tracheostomy care, and dysrhythmia interpretation • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Staff scheduled for 6-week periods through self-assisted scheduling via Optilink • Care for patients with stroke, tumors, seizure disorders, TIA, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department with a primary focus on caring for medical neurological patients.
